INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 3 University of North Georgia (UNG) men's golf team has been selected to participate in the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Golf South/Southeast Regional as announced by the NCAA national office Friday.

The 20 teams and eight individuals in the event will meet at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. for one of four regional tournaments across the country. Play begins Thursday, May 8 and concludes on Saturday, May 10.

The Nighthawks earned the top seed in the Southeast Region after winning three events this year and finishing outside of the top three just twice.

It is the fifth consecutive NCAA postseason appearance for head coach Bryson Worley's program. Last year the Nighthawks won the South/Southeast Regional by 10 strokes to advance to the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championship. There they finished as the runner-up for the team's best postseason appearance in program history.
