DAHLONEGA – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its 2025 women's tennis All-American teams Tuesday afternoon and the University of North Georgia (UNG) women's tennis team had two players selected as honorees.
Senior Angelina Linnikova was named a Women's Singles All-Americans and joined senior teammate Carolina Reis as the duo were both named Women's Doubles All-Americans.
Reis and Linnikova paired together to make up the No. 3 ranked doubles combo in the country. The two were named PBC Tournament Doubles MVPs and finished the year with an outstanding 11-2 record which included five wins over nationally ranked doubles pairings.
Linnikova's 18 doubles wins as a senior added to her 45 total victories for her career, the third-most in program history.
Reis finished her career with a sparkling 36-7 record in doubles competitions over two seasons. After going 23-3 during UNG's run to the National Semifinals last season, she posted a 13-4 mark in 2025 with a 5-2 record against ranked opponents.
This is the first All-American selection of Reis' career. She is the seventh ITA All-American in program history.

The redshirt senior from Irkutsk, Russia was UNG's #1 singles player in each of the last two seasons. She combined to go 46-4 in singles matches during that time. She made plenty of history along the way.
Ranked by ITA as the No. 2 women's singles player in the country, Linnikova earned the highest individual ranking in program history this season. Those 24 victories contributed to her career grand total of 62 singles wins, the most in program history by seven victories. Linnikova competed in just three years of singles competition at a .912 winning percentage.
While in Dahlonega, Linnikova earned every award under the sun. The 2025 PBC and ITA Southeast Region Player of the Year was also a four-time PBC all-conference selection, eight-time PBC Player of the Week winner and a PBC Tournament MVP in singles and doubles.
