CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Two Nighthawk runners finished their prolific senior seasons for the University of North Georgia (UNG) women's track & field team at the Lee Last Chance Meet in Cleveland, Tenn. on Saturday.

Seniors Ella Stoudenmire and Anna Chasteen each closed out the 2025 season with an impressive performance at the meet.

Stoudenmire finished in ninth place in the women's 800-meter race with a 2:13.70 time.

Stoudenmire has been a standout athlete with both the track & field and cross country teams at UNG in her career.

She is a two-time Peach Belt Conference Individual Track & Field Champion, winning the 800-meter race in consecutive seasons in 2023 and 2024.

Beyond her individual titles, Stoudenmire is also a five-time PBC all-conference selection in the 1500-meter, 800-meter and 4x400-meter relay races.

Stoudenmire has also stood out in the classroom during her career at UNG. She won the 2023 (cross country) and 2025 (track & field) PBC Elite 18 Awards for the highest grade point average among all competitors at the conference championship.

She is also a three-time PBC Team of Academic Distinction winner and twice earned the Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award.

Chasteen ended her senior campaign with the best race of her career in the women's 3000m steeplechase. The Zebulon, Ga. native came in second place in the event with a personal best time of 11:13.21.

Chasteen has also built a massively impressive career in her tenure in Dahlonega. She is a three-time PBC All-Conference cross country runner and earned a podium finish in the 3000m steeplechase at the PBC Conference Championships just two weeks ago.

Academically Chasteen's career is highlighted by a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Academic All-America selection in 2021. She was also twice named a PBC Presidential Honor Roll Scholar.

Stoudenmire and Chasteen have been side-by-side in their careers with the Nighthawks. The duo have been pillars of success, growth and pride for the UNG track & field and cross country programs.
